The Cowley County Community Developmental Disability Organization (CDDO) is seeking applicants for Executive Director. This position has overall administrative responsibility for all operations of the CDDO Department to carry out its mission of providing efficient delivery of quality services to the developmentally disabled residents of Cowley County by performing the functions and responsibilities of a Community Developmental Disability Organization (CDDO) as set forth by the State Statutes and Kansas Administrative Regulations (KAR).
Efficient in planning finances of the CDDO Department, including preparation and implementation of annual budget and report current financial status to the County Commission, CDDO Advisory Board, and County Administrator. Also determine eligibility for developmental disability services
Complete extraordinary funding reviews. The ability to conduct gate keeping reviews when institutional services are requested. Oversee/Facilitate Quality Assurance activity and Quality Assurance Committee, Funding Committee, Council of Community members, Service Provider meetings, and Case management meetings.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and 5-years of supervisory experience in the field of providing services to persons with developmental disabilities; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicant is required to also have the following: BASIS Training Certification, Eligibility Determination Certification, and Case Management Registration. Pay range is from $27.19 – $36.39 hourly depending on experience.
