Business Analyst

Repair station shop instructions, bring the instructions up to date with current airworthiness directives and service bulletins as well as move them from the site’s legacy systems to SAP for the T700, F110 and F118 service teams that are associated with the operations  at Strother Field in Arkansas City, Kansas.

The technical documentation professional will coordinate with shop engineering and production representatives to update archived instructions, convert multiple sets of existing instructions to a single flow. The instructions must be prepared to meet the SAP conversion requirements of the shop manual, site quality, and  engineers. Will also create project documentation and track the status of all assigned tasks. This position Accuracy and completeness is critical for all services performed

  • Day Shift
  • Office work, may be required to physical walk through shop/ warehouse
  • Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail
  • Active listening and Time Management

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand and interpret aircraft engine repair manuals and processes
  • Strong technical report writing background – preferably in Aviation industry
  • Verified proficiency using Microsoft Office Software including Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and willingness to pursue process improvement projects
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

  • Previous quality or engineering experience Experience with SAP in MRO environment

External and Internal Interactions/Management/Reporting Relationships:

  • Interactions with team lead and with customers

Required Education & Experience:

  • 4-year college degree in engineering or similar technical field
